Purpose:
This survey is
designed to benchmark the current readiness of Bangladesh’s export-oriented RMG
factories — including large enterprises and SMEs — for Digital Product Passport
(DPP) and traceability requirements under the EU Eco-design for Sustainable
Products Regulation (ESPR).
Use of Survey Results:
The
survey results will provide a consolidated snapshot of industry readiness
across ESPR awareness, digital infrastructure maturity, data availability, and
organizational capacity. This evidence base will enable DigiProd Pass to design
targeted, module-wise capacity building interventions for factories at
different readiness levels, ensuring inclusivity of SMEs while aligning
Bangladesh’s RMG sector with EU DPP timelines.
